YouKickAss, LLC. was a Kickstarted company, headed by CEO Keri Andrews, that made personalized, superhero action figures. We developed proprietary software to convert photos into 3D digital and 3D printable heads. We were featured on Shark Tank (receiving investment from Mark Cuban). We won “audience favorite” at the 2015 GeekWire Summit.

 

As the Senior Level Artist My Responsibilities Included:

• Taking product from user submitted photo to fully realized, personalized superhero action figure. Includes use of Photoshop, proprietary software, 3D Studio Max, ZBrush, Mesh Lab, ZPrint/ZEdit and other software kits to sculpt, model and texture for 3D Printed end-use.

• People management. Overseeing, approvals, coordination with in-house pipeline and process and exterior contract/vendor artists.

• Character concept and design using traditional and digital means for 3D manufacturable and printable end-use.

• User experience development and design for internal and external process, tools, and software. Includes research, user testing, wireframing, prototyping and design.

• Team and individual R&D, ideation, scrum participation.

• Any other work as needed to aid in development, team building, and fulfillment as required by the needs of a start-up company.
